| Why Speed Dating? |
| Speed Dating is one of the most popular and fantastic ways to meet new people. Just attend one of our professionally organised events for the chance to have up to twenty 3 minute dates, and then decide if you would like to see any of them again. |
| Is 3 minutes per date enough? |
| 3 minutes is long enough to decide if there is chemistry between you, but short enough if there is none. In addition, we also run some events with 4-5 minutes per date, please view events for full information on all our Kent events. |
| Can I attend the event on my own? |
| Certainly, over 75% of men and women attend our events on their own. The hosts will be there to ensure you feel welcome and relaxed and can introduce you to someone on arrival should you wish. |
| How long does an event last? |
| The event can last up to 3 hours including breaks, and many guests will stay after to continue socialising. |
| Can I bring a friend who is not participating in the event? |
| Yes, most venues have space for friends to attend, however please confirm before attending. |
| Will there be other people in the bar watching us? |
| We have exclusive use of the majority of venues for our events. |
| What sort of people go to singles events? |
| Open-minded, professional, friendly, single people who want to have fun and meet new people or maybe that special someone. |
| Is it just for lonely, desperate people? |
| Absolutely not, most of our members are professional people who have good social lives, but just find it hard meeting that special someone, or do not have time. |

| Where do you run your Speed Dating events? |
| We currently run Speed Dating Bromley, Speed Dating Maidstone and Speed Dating Canterbury. |
| Will you be running more events for the over fifties? |
| Yes, we are currently planning more events for this age group, please register FREE then we can keep you updated. |
| What if I get tongue-tied or extremely nervous? |
It is normal to feel a little nervous at first, but you will be surprised how quickly you relax and start to enjoy the night. Remember the majority of people will feel the same as you.

| How strict are the age ranges? |
| The ages are just guidelines it is up to you to decide which event would be the most suitable to attend. But remember you will have greater success if you stay closer to your own age. |
| What should I wear? |
| Smart casual, be yourself, but remember to make an effort as first impressions count! We always recommend that you dress to impress as no-one will look twice if you are scruffy. Please note, if you decide to wear jeans, ensure they are smart in appearance with shoes, rather than trainers. |

| How do I book for an event? |
| You must first register FREE, then you can view information & book on the events page, alternatively call 01227 749290 for more information. |
| Do I require an email address to register and does this need to be my own? |
| Yes, these are really easy to set up and FREE of charge, visit www.hotmail.com and follow the instructions. |
| Can I book my friends onto an event? |
| No, each person is required to register themselves, they can then can book a place. This ensures that we have the full contact details for each member attending including correct name, email and mobile number. Otherwise they will not show on event list and therefore not be able to attend. If your friend does not have an email address you can set one up for them (see above question). |
| How will I know if my place is booked? |
| Once you have booked, you will receive a confirmation email with full details about the event. Ensure your personal details are correct before you book, otherwise you will not receive this important confirmation. |
| What do I do if I have forgotten my password? |
| Simply click the forgotten password link and an email will be sent to you. If this link does not work then contact us as the email you are trying to use is incorrect. |
| Why is it important to keep my registration details up to date, and how can I do this? |
| This is extremely important, otherwise you will not receive any details regarding events, matches etc and your matches will not be able to contact you. Simply log in then you will be able to update your details in the my account area. |
| Will I receive a second reminder before the event? |
| No, the email confirmation we send at point of booking has full details, please print, keep safe and put the date in your diary or on a calender for a reminder. |
| What do you mean by 'GUARANTEED SUCCESS or your next event FREE!' |
We are so confident that you'll meet someone you'd want to see again, that if you don't your next event will be FREE! At the event you will be given a date card and you’ll be asked to place ticks next to anyone you would like to see again. If there is no one at the event you would like to see again and you do not place any ticks in the 'hit' column, we are more than happy to offer you a FREE place on a different event of your choice. As new people attend each event, this gives you another great opportunity to meet more members and see if there will be someone at the next event you like, therefore we believe your chances of meeting someone you like are pretty high! Please note: this guarantee is only applicable if you do not tick anyone. No free events will be given if you receive no matches from an event. |
| I have not received my booking confirmation? |
A confirmation email is sent out to you immediately after payment has been completed. Please check that the email is not in you junk / bulk or spam email folder. In addition, ensure that you have entered the correct email address when you registered, otherwise this and other important information will not reach you.

| Why do I need to book in advance? |
| Early booking is essential as each event has a limited number of places available. It also helps to ensure an equal balance of men and ladies. |
| How much does it cost? |
| You can register FREE now, view events to see individual prices. |
| What if I don’t want to pay by credit card? |

| Is there a cancellation policy? |
| We are unable to offer refunds as the quality and success of our events would be compromised. However, if you are able to offer at least 3 days notice we will be more than happy to move you to an alternative event. You must however, contact us within 3 Months of the original date to book your alternative event. |
| If you have to postpone or cancel an event, can I receive a full refund? |
| In this situation, everyone attending would be given the option of transferring to an alternative date or a full refund. |
| Would I be notified about a cancellation? |
| Yes, everyone would be contacted by email and text message by 5 pm. |
| If I am unable to go, can a friend attend in my place? |
| Yes, provided your friend is a similar age and the same sex. Please contact us to discuss further. |
| Will any of my personal information be passed on to anyone else? |
| No, we strictly comply with the 1998 Data Protection Act. The only time your first name, email address / and or mobile would be, is if you have attended an event and have requested that it is passed to a match (see below). All other personal information is kept strictly confidential. |

| What is a match? |
| A match is when two people indicate that they would like to see each other again. |
| How will I know if I have any matches? |
| The day after the event, you can login to the secure website area to retrieve your matches in private. |
| What personal information is passed onto matches? |
| First name, badge number, email address / and or mobile phone number. |
| Will my details be passed on to anyone who I have not matched with? |
| No, to protect everyone involved we will not forward anyone’s details unless there is a match. This means you have to first tick someone. |
| Does anyone else see my results ? |
| No, all results are posted in a secure area. You can only view your own results when you login with your username and password. |
