Terms and Conditions

1. You must be 18 years or over, single and not have any criminal convictions to use the website and to attend Singles Speed Date events.
2. Singles Speed Date aims, but does not guarantee, to offer participants 15-20 dates per speed dating event. We also do our best to ensure an equal number of males/females at all events. However, due to potential cancellations and unforeseen circumstances on the evening of the event, we accept no responsibility for either unequal and/or lower numbers in male or female guests.
3. Singles Speed Date reserve the right to change any aspects of the event (date, times, venue or otherwise). In this unlikely instance, we will always provide you with as much notice as possible via your email.
4. We reserve the right to cancel any event and in this unlikely case will offer a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative event, but no other compensation.
5. If you cancel we are unable to offer a refund as the quality and success of our events would be compromised. However, if you are able to offer at least 3 days notice we will endeavour to move you to an alternative event.
6. Singles Speed Date reserve the right to alter the price of any event and occasionally offer discounted prices for selected individuals.
7. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to expel, without refund, guests who do not conduct themselves in a proper manner or become abusive and/or offensive to other guests at an event.
8. Participants are responsible for attending an event on time. If a guest turns up late to an event, we are under no obligation to allow them to participate in the event, nor offer any refund or compensation. We will however do our best to accommodate them into the event if possible.
9. Singles Speed Date recommend that you abide by the following safety guidelines when meeting anyone after an event. Do not give your address until you feel ready, meet in a public place and inform a friend of you whereabouts.
10. Occasionally, Singles Speed Date may take photographs or invite media to its events for publicity purposes. We reserve the right to publish images or photographs of participants from events. We will not however, disclose names without prior authorisation.
11. Your personal login in details are for your sole, personal use. You may not authorise anyone else to use your user details, and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person.

12. Singles Speed Date are not a matchmaking service, we organise events where single people can meet one another in a safe, comfortable and relaxed environment.
13. We cannot and do not verify personal information on our guests, such as marital status, or any other aspects of their general background. It is your responsibility to clarify personal information to your own satisfaction and we recommend that you do so.
14. We will not be held responsible for any injuries, or damages suffered to yourself or your personal items of any kind at our events.
15. Singles Speed Date will not be held liable for any damages, emotional distress, or physical injury that may arise from communications or contact with other participants, without limitation, either during or at any stage after an event.
